Okay, tonight’s post would have been about the End of the Year School Party (Enkai) that I went to, but I kinda forgot the camera there after drinking some delicious strawberry wine, so…yeah. No Enkai picture. Thankfully, I had already put some new pictures on my working computer!
In Japan, many of the streets are narrow, or enter onto a street where the drivers can’t see pedestrians or bikers. Take it from me, who actually hit a motorcycle with my bike…by the time they pull up so that they can see if any cars are coming, bikes may hit them.
So enter the magic mirror. It shows bikers / walkers what cars are coming up the way while also showing drivers who’s on the road. Many thanks to my husband and my friend Ashley for helping to demonstrate.
